Priscilla Condon started Path to Wellness LLC

After two decades as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, including teaching experience at prestigious Vanderbilt University, our founder made a life-changing decision to leave traditional medicine when her own health began to decline. Struggling with chronic fatigue, unexplained weight gain, persistent body pain, and debilitating stomach issues, she discovered that conventional medicine’s “quick fix” approach wasn’t providing the lasting solutions her body needed.

This personal health crisis became her greatest teacher, leading her to explore outside of the box and holistic healing approaches that focus on identifying root causes rather than simply masking symptoms.

A Foundation Built on Experience and Travel

Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, she spent childhood summers at her family’s home on beautiful Perdido Bay, developing a deep connection to the Gulf Coast region. Her adventurous spirit led her to marry an Army Officer, taking her around the world to places like Thailand and Germany, where she lived for 12 years. These international experiences exposed her to diverse healing modalities and traditional wellness practices that she now incorporates into her personalized approach to health and wellness.

Her extensive travels provided invaluable insights into how different cultures approach healing and nutrition, knowledge that enriches her practice today in serving clients throughout Baldwin County and the greater Alabama Gulf Coast area.

Community Leadership and Innovation

During her traditional medical practice, she pioneered HEALS, Alabama’s first school-based clinic program, which continues to thrive today with four medical clinics and two dental clinics serving children and families in low-income schools throughout Huntsville and Madison County. This innovative program demonstrates her lifelong commitment to making healthcare accessible and addressing health disparities in underserved communities.

Her dedication to community wellness has earned recognition through prestigious awards, including the Woman’s Economic Development Council of Huntsville’s “Health and Human Services” award, the Interfaith Mission Service’s Community Service Award, and Rotarian of the Year honors from the Foley Rotary Club.

Sustainable Wellness Philosophy

Her passion for environmental stewardship naturally extends into her wellness philosophy. She actively explores sustainable farming practices and prioritizes locally-produced organic foods in her own home with her daughter and granddaughter. This commitment to environmental health reflects her belief that true wellness encompasses not just individual health, but the health of our communities and planet.

Currently residing in the Foley area, she remains actively engaged in local governance, having served on the Perdido Beach Town Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Her continued involvement in church and community organizations demonstrates her dedication to creating healthier communities throughout Baldwin County.

This unique combination of advanced medical training, international exposure to diverse healing traditions, community leadership experience, and personal health transformation provides the foundation for a truly comprehensive approach to functional medicine and wellness consulting that serves clients throughout the Alabama Gulf Coast region.
